Notes on using the recipe book:
Recipes are stored in a database, so it is searchable by recipe name, recipe category, recipe main ingredient, and sugar content.
- Enter Name: enter the full recipe name or only part of the name. A list with all the recipes satisfying that partial name or partial name will be displayed. An empty entry will include all recipe names
- Select Category: Recipes are assigned to a particular category. The available catagories are:
- Appetizer, Beverage, Cocktail, Desert, Dip, Entree, Salad, Sauce, Snack, Soup, Vegitable
- Main Ingredients: Recipes are assigned a particular main ingredient. The available main ingredients are:
- Alcohol, Beef, Dairy, Fruit, Nuts, Pastry, Pork, Poultary, Seafood, Vegetarian
- Sugar Content: Recipes are assigned a particular sugar content. The available sugar content are:
- Sugar Free, Low Sugar, Regular Sugar, High Sugar, Unknown Sugar
- Enter Ingredient: enter ingredient name or only part of the name. A list with all the recipes satisfying that partial name or partial name will be displayed. An empty entry will include all ingredients.
- List Recipes: Displays the names of all recipes that satisfy the selected criteria.
- Scale Recipe: Recipes can be scaled to increase or decrease the number of servings.
- Print Recipe: Display the recipe in a printer friendly format.
